Mark Taylor has worked as a reporter at CBC Saskatchewan, the Saskatoon StarPhoenix, the Moose Jaw Times-Herald and as a stringer with the Canadian Press covering the WHL’s Regina Pats. Taylor currently serves as an editor at the Canadian Journalism Project (www.jsource.ca) where he contributes Q&A’s with distinguished Canadian photojournalists. His written work has been published in the Globe and Mail, National Post, and numerous other newspapers, magazines and websites throughout North America.
Taylor also works on assignment as a photojournalist for various Canadian publications and wire services, including the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star, Maclean’s magazine, the Canadian Press and CPImages. Taylor’s photos have appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, APTN and numerous other websites, publications and books. Other clients include the National Film Board of Canada, CBC, the Calgary Herald, Scotland’s Sunday Post, magazines including Western Living, Harrowsmith Country Life, Unlimited, Flavours, Briarpatch, Sasquatch, Positive Thinking, Canadian Poker Player, and HR Reporter. He holds degrees in film studies (2000) and journalism (2004), both from the University of Regina.
