Darrell Davis

Darrell earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Regina sometime in the 1970s, missed the submission deadline and officially convocated in 1980. He went on to work at the Regina Leader-Post for decades, has authored or co-authored six sports books, is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and is currently a “Wise Guy” on CJME/CKOM’s Green Zone.

Jeanelle Mandes

Asper Visiting Chair in Journalism, Lecturer

Jeanelle earned her bachelor of arts in journalism here in 2015 and then her masters in 2017. She also holds a BA in Indigenous Studies from First Nations University of Canada and has impressive communications and journalism experience as well. Since 2016 Jeanelle has served as the editor of Eagle Feather news, a role which has her doing everything from writing, assigning and editing news stories and photos to selling advertising.
