Darrell earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Regina sometime in the 1970s, missed the submission deadline and officially convocated in 1980. He went on to work at the Regina Leader-Post for decades, has authored or co-authored six sports books, is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and is currently a “Wise Guy” on CJME/CKOM’s Green Zone.
