Class of 2017 are diving into their journalism careers

Here’s what a few members of the Class of 2017 have been up to since they unfurled their degrees last May and October.
- Alex Johnson is a web writer, reporter and associate producer at CBC Saskatchewan in Regina.
- Alex Antoneshyn was hired on as reporter/producer by CTV Two’s current affairs/magazine program, Alberta Primetime, in their Calgary bureau.
- Jessie Anton is reporting for CJME, most recently seen live-tweeting from the provincial legislature as the new premier was sworn in.
- Laura Beamish followed the northern lights to Alberta – first as a reporter for the Lac La Biche Post, and now with Fort McMurray Today.
- Brad Bellegarde is busy covering Indigenous stories from across Saskatchewan for a national audience, as a full time reporter for CBC Indigenous.
- Allison Bamford is the producer for Global Morning News in Regina, after a stint as a CTV reporter in Prince Albert.
- Brandon Harder started with CBC Saskatchewan, and then the Regina Leader-Post snagged him as a full-time reporter-photojournalist.
- Emily Pasiuk got her start as a web writer for Global News, then moved over to CBC in January.
